Kuraray Liquid Rubber
Kuraray Liquid Rubber (LIR/LBR) is a viscous rubber based on Isoprene/or butadiene, which was originally synthesized by Kuraray Co. Ltd.
LIR/LBR works as a reactive plasticizer and can replace the natural mineral oil present in rubber, reducing oozing and spoiling in the shaping and molding process and also eliminates blooming during product life cycle. LIR/LBR is co-vulcanizable / or co-crosslinkable with solid rubbers such as NR, SBR,BR, EPDM using sulfur or peroxide. Some LIR/LBR is crosslinkable by reaction of its functional group and are crosslinkable by UV radiation.
Homopolymer (Isoprene) : LIR-30, LIR-50
Homopolymer (Butadiene) : LBR305,LBR307,LBR352
